About the Stacks/Law Group
Stacks/The Law Firm is a group of independent law firms that together offer a wide range of legal services throughout New South Wales, the ACT and Southern Queensland. Each firm is an autonomous incorporated legal practice but by working together the group is able to offer expert legal advice at a higher level and across a wider legal and geographical area than the individual members of the group could otherwise offer.
Stacks/Law Group is the umbrella organisation that works with the individual firms to, amongst other things, assist communication and networking across the group, develop shared knowledge management materials, achieve cost-savings in procurement and drive quality management and process improvement. The first Stacks/The Law Firm office was established by Edward Raymond Stack in Wingham in 1931. Since that time the group has organically grown and now boasts offices in 20 locations between Surfer’s Paradise and Canberra employing more than 70 professional and 135 support staff. We strive to continue the tradition begun by Mr Stack to provide expert legal services in a friendly manner and at a cost-effective price to the communities in which we serve.
