Gala Sydney Town Hall Celebration
Stacks The Law Firm is achieving outstanding success, expanding throughout Australia and abroad, as it celebrates the 75th anniversary of the practice established by founding father, Edward Raymond Stack, in 1931.
Representatives of the firm's 25 offices with 80 lawyers and 300 support staff, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Hon. Mr Mark Vaile, the Chief Justice of Australia, the Hon. Murray Gleeson, AC, clients and other special guests, were among more than 500 present to toast the success of the alliance at a gala function at the Sydney Town Hall on August 19.
Stacks The Law Firm Managing Director Mr Maurie Stack told guests the firm was now the largest regional-based network of law practices in Australia . "Our success today is attributable to the efforts of the great team of people who make up Stacks The Law Firm, and to the enduring culture and family-based principles born when my father, Edward Raymond Stack, set up practice in Wingham , New South Wales , 75 years ago," said Mr Stack.
A town crier ushered guests into the function to accompaniment on the Town Hall's world famous pipe organ. Guests danced the night away to the Paul Griffiths Big Band and toasted one of the alltime success stories of legal practice in the nation, Stacks The Law Firm.
